Last weekend the Stirling Team were at Catterick FIBUA Village for a special event airsoft game which saw the team’s two troops, Sabre and Zulu, battling against each other for the first time ever.

Unlike the regular Stirling Airsoft Games which anyone can book to attend, this game was only open to members of the Stirling Team and gave us an opportunity to pit Sabre and Zulu Troops against each other in a battle for supremacy.

Sabre vs Zulu – The Result
The game was closely fought with a lot of back and forth between the two teams as Zulu took the advantage early on before Sabre clawed back territory later in the game. Both teams launched assaults on the other’s Command Posts and as Zulu Team Leader, Zulu Daddy, put it, “Both teams dug deep and unleashed hell. Result was one top weekend.” With mission objectives won and lost on both sides neither team took a clear lead over the other and in the end the game was declared a draw with the result too close to call in favour of either Sabre or Zulu.

The Team has a busy few months ahead of them Operation: Mongoose at Catterick on October 17th and 18th, followed by the Op: Atlas Combat Mission in November.
Then we’re back at Catterick in December for Op: Infinite Justice the follow up to last year’s England vs Scotland battle for the Stirling Shield. Don’t forget to sign up to represent your country as England prepare to defend their title against the Scottish.
