On Monday November 9th members of the Stirling Team appeared on national television here in the UK during a report about private security contractors on the BBC’s The One Show.

It’s worth pointing out that Stirling Airsoft was not the subject of the report, but rather the Team was there to provide background action and demonstrations during the report.
Please bear in mind that BBC iPlayer is only available inside the UK and that shows are only made available on there for a limited period after their original broadcast date. If you’re reading this post after November 16th 2009 the chances are that the video of that episode will no longer be available.
This isn’t the first time that members of the Stirling Team have taken part in filming for TV shows. Over the years Team members have been involved with a number of different documentaries and TV shows, such as SAS: The Real Story and Chris Ryan’s Terror Alert on Sky One.
The SAS: The Real Story program is shown from time to time on the Discovery Channel. I haven’t been able to find it in the listings for the next few weeks (if you do know when it’ll next be on TV please let us know in the comments) but if you’re really interested you can buy the DVD from Amazon.co.uk.
